For brand & partnership teams

Brand Partnerships With a Paleontologist

I'm not a creator who sometimes does science. I'm a paleontologist who sometimes does paid posts, and the difference matters to your audience.

Evan Jevnikar is a paleontologist and content creator partnering with brands across the toy, education, museum, publishing, apparel, and science-tech categories.

Why partner

Why this isn't a generic creator deal

Most creators sell you impressions. I sell you outcomes. My audience doesn't just watch — it buys, books, and shows up. That's what happens when trust is the product, not attention.

01

The credentials are real

A Master's in Biological Sciences from NC State, where Evan studied tyrannosaur growth and histology in Dr. Lindsay Zanno's paleontology lab; fieldwork on Nanotyrannus and Fona herzogae; and Surviving Climate and Chaos, a #1 New Release on Amazon in Biology of Fossils, Biology of Dinosaurs, Evolution, and Paleontology. Brand-safe expertise that holds up under press scrutiny and audience pushback.

02

The audience is the right audience

The followers came for the science, not the algorithm. That means an unusually high concentration of educators, parents shopping for STEM gifts, museum members, science-adjacent professionals, and the kind of curious adults who actually read product captions before they buy.

03

The content is built for both your funnel and my readers

Every piece of content has to clear two filters: would the science hold up, and would the audience actually want to see this. That's what protects your campaign from the engagement-tanking "this is an ad and we both know it" comments that kill most paid creator content.

04

I'm a publisher, not just a poster

Beyond social, partnerships can extend to the Monthly Dino Digest newsletter, long-form content on dailydinoguy.com, the book, and live events. Most paid creator deals plateau at "one Reel and a Story." My organic campaign for Steve Brusatte's The Story of Birds reached hundreds of thousands of readers — and the publisher asked to license the content for paid ads. This kind of partnership doesn't have to plateau.

What I can create

Partnership formats

Social Content

  • Instagram Reels, sponsored, fully scripted with your team or organic-style
  • Instagram Carousels, educational deep-dives, historically the highest-saving format
  • Instagram Stories, single frame or 3–7 frame series
  • TikTok videos, short-form, native-style

Threads cross-posts and Reels-to-TikTok cross-distribution typically included as standard with any social package.

YouTube

  • Mid-roll integrations, 60–90 seconds inside a regular video
  • Dedicated sponsorship videos, full episodes built around a brand or topic

Pre/post-roll mentions included as standard with either format.

Long-Form & Editorial

  • Sponsored blog posts, long-form on dailydinoguy.com, with permanent SEO value

The Monthly Dino Digest newsletter features a free monthly spotlight on paleo brands Evan personally champions — not a paid placement.

Events & Live

  • Live event appearances and brand booth presence
  • In-person speaker tie-ins, combined with the speaking offering
  • Sponsored webinars and co-produced live events

Custom Campaigns

Multi-platform campaigns, long-term ambassadorships, and bespoke content packages built around a product launch, exhibit, season, or campaign, built on request.

All partnerships are flat-fee only — no commission deals, no affiliate splits, no trade-for-product arrangements. Specific rates, format examples, and historical performance data are available in the media kit, sent on request. Inquire for pricing.

Brand fit

Who I partner with, and who I don't

I'm picky on purpose. The audience trusts me because every recommendation has to be one I'd give a friend who asked. Here's who that translates to.

Brands I love working with

Toy & collectibles
Schleich, Safari Ltd, LEGO, Mattel / Jurassic World, Spin Master, action figure and model brands
Museums & cultural institutions
Natural history museums, science centers, traveling exhibits, science-forward attractions
Education platforms
KiwiCo, MEL Science, Brilliant, Outschool, Skillshare, museum-led online learning platforms
Publishing
Trade science publishers, science magazines, children's book imprints, academic press
Apparel & lifestyle
Science-themed apparel, paleontology-inspired collections, museum gift-shop lines
Science media & streaming
Discovery, NatGeo, BBC Earth, PBS, Curiosity Stream, streaming docs
STEM tech & tools
DNA testing, AI for science education, microscope and field-tool brands, edtech
Adventure & travel
Fossil dig vacations, museum tours, science-led travel companies

Brands I don't work with

Anti-science messaging or pseudoscience, alcohol or tobacco, gambling, anything explicitly political, anything explicitly religious, and anything that would lose the audience's trust faster than I could earn it back. If you're not sure where your brand sits, ask, I'd rather have a five-minute "no" conversation than a six-month regret.

The process

What a partnership actually looks like

Inquiry

You send a note through the form below (or your agency does), with as much detail as you can share: brand, product, timing, audience goal, budget range, and any creative direction.

Discovery call

30-minute call with me, no pre-call deck required. We talk through fit, scope, your audience, my audience, and what success looks like. If it's not the right fit, I'll tell you on the call. If it is, you'll have a tailored proposal within five business days.

Contract + creative

You countersign the proposal, we lock dates, and your team and I align on creative direction. I write everything myself, your team reviews drafts before anything ships. Standard usage and exclusivity terms are spelled out in the contract.

Delivery + reporting

Content goes live on schedule. You get raw analytics within seven days of campaign close, plus a one-page recap with engagement, audience demographics for the campaign window, and qualitative comments-and-sentiment notes.

Partnership inquiry

Let's see if there's a fit

Tell me about your brand and what you have in mind. I'll come back within three business days with availability and next steps.

Most partnerships start at $1,000. Multi-platform campaigns and ambassadorships typically run $5,000+.
